The children are grown and I have the opportunity to pursue new adventures in this season of life. "Dolce Mattina" is Italian for "sweet morning". Don't we all love sweet things? I covet friendships with people who are sweet; I look forward to sweet times of restful relaxation or discovery; I welcome sweet acts of kindness from others; and, of course, I enjoy sweet food. My other website chronicles my adventures in Rome and traveling throughout Italy. The purpose for this site is to share with you how I bring the sweet Italian lifestyle into my everyday life here in the states.
